BUDGET LOFT

The compact loft apartment was designed for a client with a particular affection for IKEA’s simplicity. Located in a small rented flat, the project focuses on creating a generous and airy living space through careful furniture organisation and subtle material interventions.

The layout was planned to maximise openness and clarity. Familiar standard pieces were combined with designer elements to bring individuality and depth to the space. Wooden surfaces were treated with a subtle whitening oil to introduce lightness and cohesion throughout the space.

Without any structural changes, the design demonstrates how even within the limitations of a rented flat, thoughtful spatial planning and furniture choices can transform an ordinary interior into a comfortable, characterful home that feels both personal and expansive.
